About ChopChart
Hi, I'm Ahmed Fawad — the person cooking, testing, and writing every recipe on this site. Easy comfort food for real home cooks. One pan, simple ingredients, proper flavor — every single time.
The Story Behind ChopChart
My name is Ahmed Fawad and I started ChopChart with one simple belief: good food doesn't need to be complicated. Most of the best meals come from a single pan, a handful of everyday ingredients, and just enough time to let things come together properly.
This blog exists for people who want real comfort food — the kind that fills the kitchen with a smell that pulls everyone off the couch. Creamy chicken dinners, juicy steak bites, giant homemade cookies, soft bread rolls. Food that feels generous and warm, not fussy or intimidating.
Every recipe on ChopChart is cooked and tested in my own home kitchen — not a professional studio, not a restaurant. If something doesn't work simply and reliably, it doesn't make it onto the site. That's the standard I hold myself to.
What You'll Find Here
How We Do Things
-
Real home kitchen testing. Every recipe is made and tested at home before it goes live. If it doesn't work consistently with regular equipment and everyday ingredients, it doesn't get published.
-
Clear step-by-step instructions. We write for home cooks of all skill levels. No assumed knowledge, no vague steps. Each instruction is written so anyone can follow it confidently.
-
Halal-first approach. All meat recipes on ChopChart use halal ingredients. We make sure every recipe works with halal cuts and products available in regular supermarkets.
-
Budget-conscious cooking. Good food shouldn't require expensive ingredients. Most ChopChart recipes are built around affordable everyday staples — without cutting corners on flavor.
-
Honest cook times. If a recipe says 20 minutes, it means 20 minutes. We don't pad prep times or hide steps. What's written is what you'll actually experience in your kitchen.
